Thumb Size Bodhisattva Tara (Green) Thang-ka
Thumb Size Bodhisattva Tara (Green) Thang-ka
Thang-ka serves as an important teaching tool depicting the life of the Buddha, various influential lamas, and other deities and bodhisattvas.
The images are used to teach students and monks about the aspects of Buddha, describe important historical events, and illustrate myths associated with important deities.
Most importantly, Thang-ka art is a valuable meditation tool and offers a manifestation of the divine that is both visually and mentally stimulating.
Bodhisattva Tara with her right hand in the giving mudra of generosity and her left hand holding a blue lotus flower. A mudra is a symbolic hand gesture, while the lotus is a reminder that there is beauty within even the darkest of times. Most notably, Bodhisattva Tara has her right leg outstretched, ready to spring into action. She is always available to help and assist anyone in need.
Wearing a Bodhisattva Tara Thang-ka can provide you a peace of mind that at all times, her Goddess will be watching over you. Whenever you are down or faced with difficulties in life, She will always be there to lend you a helping hand. You will never be left in the lurch with her presence.
All our Thang-ka had been certified that it had been blessed at Drashi Lhamo temple 扎基寺 in Lhasa, Tibet.
